Email Creative & Strategy

Overview: Based on seasonal campaigns and trends, my role was to partner closely with the email marketing manager and merchandising team to help shape the campaigns and testing plans.  From those plans we would use the existing campaign photography or shoot into anything specific that needed to be produced for testing needs.  Based on the calendar and timing, we would carry through already established design themes for that specific campaign or season.


Below are examples of our 'batch & blast' campaigns from different categories – we also had an arsenal of transactional emails that were designed and redesigned on a quarterly basis (welcome series, order confirmation, category browse, etc.).


Beyond creative direction, copy and design, I was also involved in overall linking strategy. I had ultimate accountability for sign-off on staging prior to launch.
